Job Overview HealthONE is seeking an experienced RN Trauma ICU to deliver expert, compassionate care to critically injured patients in our advanced Trauma ICU. In this role, you’ll manage complex, high-acuity cases, utilizing cutting‑edge monitoring and life‑support technologies while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary trauma team. You’ll perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications and blood products, respond to rapid changes in condition, and participate in emergency interventions. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive critical care to trauma ICU patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care Administer medications, infusions, and blood products while closely monitoring patient responses Operate and troubleshoot advanced ICU equipment such as ventilators, central lines, and hemodynamic monitoring devices Collaborate with trauma surgeons, intensivists, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and participate in code and emergency interventions Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post‑discharge care when appropriate Document all care, assessments, and interventions accurately in the electronic health record Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and hospital policies to support optimal patient outcomes Participate in quality improvement initiatives, trauma/ICU committees, and evidence‑based practice projects Support and mentor new nurses and contribute to a culture of excellence, compassion, and teamwork Key Clinical Competencies Trauma ICU nursing Advanced hemodynamic monitoring Mechanical ventilation management Administration of blood products Management of vasoactive infusions Rapid assessment and emergency response Interpretation of cardiac and vital sign trends Wound and post‑surgical care Use of electronic health records (EHR) Infection control and safety compliance Benefits Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Qualifications Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) strongly preferred or obtained within designated timeframe CCRN or other critical care certification preferred PALS or equivalent pediatric emergency certification preferred, depending on unit population Prior experience in Level I or Level II trauma center preferred Proficiency with ventilator management and invasive hemodynamic monitoring Competency with electronic health records and computerized physician order entry systems Demonstrated ability to function effectively in high‑stress, fast‑paced critical care environments #J-18808-Ljbffr Interfaco Ltd
