Family Resource Home Care - Portland East Location Serving the greater Portland Metro area across Multnomah and Clackamas Counties, including Clackamas, Happy Valley, Troutdale, Gresham, Gladstone, Milwaukee, N Portland, NE Portland, SE Portland, Canby, Molalla, and Fairview Pay Range: $20 - $21/hr + paid training and milage reimbursement Current needs Monday through Friday (between the hours of 8 AM - 8 PM) Caregivers with experience in Hoyer's, Memory Care and Behavioral, a plus OR willing to train Caregivers comfortable with pets and smokers in home! 18 years+ Ability to lift a minimum of 10lbs and up to 50lb rarely. Must own a smart phone with capabilities to download and use a mobile app. Ability to pass a state and national background check Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record to get to client visits Able to transport clients in their own vehicle required Caregiver Job Duties Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.) Cooking and/or serving meals Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments Monitoring and reporting on their condition Other activities of daily living as assigned Why Family Resource Home Care? We train new caregivers to provide the level of care our clients expect. Client Matching. We consider your experience, availability, and preferences to match you with the perfect clients. Paid Travel Time. We pay you for your travel time and mileage in-between clients. Paid Orientation & Training. You will be paid for the time you spend at orientation and any additional online training that is required. Generous Referral Program. Continuing Education. Additional Information Oregon only – If you have not previously completed the state-required 8-hour Home Care Pulse caregiver training, you will be required to complete the training along with the nurse-led medication training before you can work with clients.
