Vulnerability Research Engineer and Developer

Vulnerability Research Engineer & Developer Key Role: Conduct research and analysis to identify vulnerabilities and potential threat vectors in systems and networks. Develop and enable cyber exploits, engineer attack methodologies, and contribute to new cyber operations concepts and tradecraft. Work on unusually complex national‑security problems to provide highly innovative solutions. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of experience performing reverse engineering, vulnerability assessments, exploitation development, or product evaluations. Experience with Windows, Linux, or macOS. Experience scripting in Perl, Java, Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Knowledge of project‑management methodologies, including Agile or Scrum. Top Secret clearance. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering. Additional Qualifications: Experience with federal law‑enforcement or Intelligence Community cyber or IT roles. Experience with cyber operations, CNO, and CNE. Knowledge of Android and iOS application‑development environments. TS/SCI clearance. OSCP and OSWP certifications. Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must hold Top Secret clearance, potentially including SCI. Compensation The projected salary range for this position is USD $62,000.00 – $141,000.00 (annualized). Compensation is determined by location, education, experience, and other factors. Onsite: Primarily performed at a Booz Allen or customer office.
