Mammography Technologist - Float Team

The role involves supporting multiple imaging facilities as part of a diagnostic float team, primarily performing mammography exams across various locations. As a Mammography Technologist , you will deliver safe, high-quality imaging while ensuring a supportive patient experience. Key duties include: operating mammography equipment safely and efficiently, reviewing images for quality and accuracy, maintaining patient privacy and comfort, adhering to QC, safety, and documentation protocols, communicating effectively with patients and team members, and supporting training and emergency procedures. Qualifications include: a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, minimum 2 years’ hospital-based radiologic and mammography experience, certifications in ARRT-R, ARRT-M, and BLS. Skills needed encompass: clinical judgment, attention to detail, anatomy and pathology knowledge, radiation safety, and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
