About The Role We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Lead to join our team. This is an hourly, full-time position, ideal for someone with a passion for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring high standards in a fast-paced environment. As the Housekeeping Lead, you will play a vital role in supervising and guiding the housekeeping team to deliver an exceptional guest experience, consistently meeting cleanliness and organizational expectations. What You'll Do Supervise and support the daily operations of the housekeeping team to achieve departmental goals. Ensure all rooms, common areas, and facilities are cleaned and maintained to the highest quality standards. Inspect completed work to ensure ongoing compliance with cleanliness and safety protocols. Organize schedules and assign tasks to housekeeping staff for efficient workflow management. Collaborate with other departments to ensure an excellent guest or customer experience. Train new housekeeping staff and provide ongoing guidance to maintain productivity and quality. Monitor inventory levels for cleaning supplies and equipment and communicate purchasing needs. Address and resolve any housekeeping-related issues or guest concerns promptly. Ensure adherence to company policies, health, and safety regulations at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in housekeeping or a related field, with some leadership responsibilities preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, for team and guest interactions. Keen attention to detail and the ability to uphold high cleanliness standards. Physical ability to perform housekeeping tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Capability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required. Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to address potential challenges with professionalism.
