Travel PET/CT Technologist (Nuclear Medicine Tech) Location: New York Pay: $3,200 per week Contract Length: 13 weeks (option to extend) Schedule: Monday – Friday Shifts vary: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM No weekends, no call, no holidays Position Overview We are seeking an experienced PET/CT Technologist with strong Nuclear Medicine experience for a weekday-only assignment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in performing PET/CT imaging procedures, administering radiopharmaceuticals, and ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging in a patient-focused environment. Responsibilities Review patient history and physician orders prior to procedures Educate patients on procedures to ensure understanding and cooperation Perform PET/CT and nuclear medicine imaging procedures Position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images Analyze imaging results and troubleshoot quality issues Administer, store, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals per protocol Monitor patient condition and respond to changes as needed Enter, transmit, and report scan results accurately Maintain inventory and ensure proper functioning of equipment Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience PET/CT experience required CT Certification required Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and protocols Certifications
