We are hiring for Child Development Teacher position at Providence Health System Alaska in Anchorage, AK!

Position is full-time, 1.0 FTE, 8-hr Day shifts, 40 hours per week.

Manages classroom and implements curriculum in accordance with licensing and NAEYC Accreditation standards and evaluates the effectiveness of the program. Supervises and mentors in-room staff.

Required Qualifications:

• Within 1 year of hire: Child Development Associate (CDA), a national early childhood certification credential (if employee does not have an associate degree or higher in early childhood or other related field)
• 1 year Paid or unpaid experience in an early childhood program. Participation in a degree seeking program or internship where the major is in Education shall be credited as experience. Associate's degree level program candidates shall be credited 1 year experience and Bachelor's degree program candidates shall be credited 2 years experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate's Degree (Or higher level degree) in Early Childhood or related field.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
