Description

Kelly Services is hiring a Maintenance Millwright in Long Beach, CA. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical maintenance experience who can support plant equipment, facility systems, and heavy industrial machinery in a safe and reliable manufacturing environment.

Location: Long Beach, CA
Pay: $38-$47/hour, based on experience
Shift: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
What you'll be doing:

• Installing, maintaining, dismantling, and repairing heavy industrial machinery and equipment
• Performing general plant and facility maintenance
• Supporting mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and utility operation tasks
• Monitoring equipment and facility systems for safe and reliable operation
• Performing preventive and predictive maintenance activities
• Gathering, recording, and reporting maintenance-related data
• Troubleshooting unusual equipment conditions and identifying root cause
• Rigging, lifting, moving pipe, and handling equipment as needed
• Using computers, phones, radios, and maintenance software to communicate and document work
• Completing forms, records, and maintenance documentation accurately
• Working independently or with other maintenance team members to support production uptime

This job might be a great fit if you:

• Have hands-on millwright or industrial maintenance experience
• Are comfortable working on heavy industrial machinery and plant equipment
• Have mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience
• Have exposure to electrical, instrumentation, utility, or facility maintenance
• Can safely lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical maintenance work
• Can recognize unusual equipment conditions and use good judgment to resolve issues safely
• Are reliable, safety-focused, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Can learn new skills and apply them accurately in a production environment
• Are comfortable documenting work in writing or computer systems
