Program Manager

Job Responsibilities Lead and motivate a cross‑functional team within the AAD Sustaining Portfolio of the MDS Business Group. Apply project management principles, including scope, work‑breakdown structure, risk management, integrated business planning, and product requirements. Deliver projects on time through predictable and transparent execution. Act as an agile problem‑solver, master negotiator, motivational coach, product development process expert, prudent risk‑taker, and team champion. Influence solutions and resolve business and/or technical problems at all organizational levels. Communicate strategically and technically to direct the project/program team. Create new avenues of excellence and act self‑starting without prompting. Demonstrate understanding of business, market growth drivers, trends, and influence business case development. Lead cross‑functional teams through medium‑scale projects of moderate complexity, individually or with an additional project leader. Manage functional work streams in a phase‑gate process and develop a comprehensive integrated project plan. Position Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline. At least 5 years of relevant experience in product development and design. At least 2‑4 years of product development and design experience with ClassII medical devices/products. Minimum of 3 years of project management experience. Experience managing remediation and/or sustaining projects. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in an engineering discipline or an MBA. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Experience developing advanced access devices. Skills & Competencies Track record of commercializing new products or remediating critical products in the market. Experience planning product development across multiple work streams, identifying risks, and implementing action plans to optimize timelines and reduce execution risk.
