Shift Leader

A Shift Leader is Responsible for: Coaching the staff to deliver amazing customer service. Producing high quality food. Delivering the Jersey Mike’s experience. Cash handling. Following the Learning Management System Training Program. Enforcing policies and procedures. Maintaining cleanliness and proper sanitation practices in the establishment. Being certified in all four positions of the restaurant. Effective communication. Having a sense of urgency. Moving or transporting up to 50 lbs without assistance unless a medical notation is made; physical disabilities covered by the Americans with Disabilities Act or a temporary doctor’s note with a time frame for restrictions on your ability. Having the ability to get to and from work. Communicating with the GM/AGM/DM about any issues faced. Leading by example in terms of food quality, customer interactions, and maintaining a clean, fitted, and pressed uniform daily. Creating food consistent with Jersey Mike’s high quality standards. Maintaining a restaurant noticeably cleaner than others. Working in a fast‑paced, team‑driven atmosphere. Managing multitasking and operating with a sense of urgency. Interfacing with customers to provide an exceptional experience. Demonstrating full understanding of accountability and integrity. Serving as a key holder. Performing all tasks related to opening and closing of the store. Knowing how to bake bread and perform all preparation tasks. Managing and leading a crew of 2 to 5 people.
