Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology

Location: Marquette, MI

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Variable shifts, with 10-hour shifts scheduled from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Guaranteed 40 hours per week.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology team. The ideal candidate will have experience in prep and recovery, specifically related to cardiac procedures. The role requires a strong ability to assess and manage patients post-cardiac and interventional radiology procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for adult and geriatric patients in the prep and recovery phase of cardiac and interventional procedures.
• Conduct assessments and manage post-anesthesia recovery for patients.
• Perform vascular line pulls as needed.
• Document patient care and related information using Electronic Health Records (EHR) - Cerner.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in prep and recovery or cardiac care.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license.
• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
