Janitor / Facilities Maintenance Associate

Adecco Staffing is currently seeking a Janitor / Facilities Maintenance Associate for a client in Longmont, CO. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of responsibilities and is committed to maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized work environment.
Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections of emergency lighting and illuminated exit signs
Ensure stairwell and emergency egress lighting is functioning properly
Verify fire extinguishers are accessible and ready for scheduled inspections and servicing
Conduct routine inspections of AED units and related supplies
Maintain clear access to emergency equipment throughout the facility
Keep hallways, stairwells, exits, and emergency routes clear and safe
Identify and address slip, trip, and fall hazards, including spills, damaged flooring, leaks, snow, and ice
Report or address damaged furniture, shelving, carts, ladders, and workplace equipment
Identify building and facility concerns such as damaged outlets, cords, doors, handrails, fixtures, and ceiling components
Complete preventive maintenance inspections to help minimize equipment failures and facility disruptions
Custodial & Environmental Duties

Maintain clean and sanitary common areas, restrooms, kitchens, break rooms, and shared spaces
Clean and maintain ice machines and shared refrigerators
Monitor refrigerator temperatures when required
Replace water and air filters as needed
Respond promptly to spills and sanitation concerns
Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces and heavily used areas
Assist with deep cleaning projects and preventive sanitation efforts
Respond appropriately to environmental incidents, including leaks, contamination concerns, and bodily fluid cleanup
Qualifications

Previous janitorial, custodial, facilities, maintenance, or building services experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to identify potential safety hazards and take appropriate action
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required

Pay Details:

$19.00 to $20.00 per hour
