Join Our Expanding ICU Team as a Full-Time Critical Care Physician

We are looking for a Full-Time Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Critical Care Physician to enhance our growing ICU team in Freeport, Illinois. This position focuses on inpatient nocturnal care, allowing you to engage in high-acuity critical care practices.

Position Details:

• Full-Time Role - 2,184 hours annually
• 7 days on / 7 days off schedule
• 12-hour shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. (In-house / Tele-ICU)
• Includes weekend and holiday shifts

Available opportunities include:

• Critical Care Inpatient (covering Tele at other facilities)
• Pulmonary Outpatient - Additional incentives available
• Currently using Meditech EMR, transitioning to Epic in October

Department Overview:

• Level 2 ICU
• 8 Bed Intensive Care Unit
• Common cases include post-operative general surgery, mechanical ventilation, sepsis, substance abuse/withdrawal, and DKA.
• Open ICU model supported by a robust Hospitalist team
• High-acuity transfers to JBH and MHTC

Qualifications Needed:

• MD/DO with Board Certification or Board Eligibility
• Fellowship training in Pulmonary/Critical Care
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Illinois
• Proven clinical skills in high-acuity ICU environments
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams

Compensation and Benefits:

Base Salary: $470,000 to $500,000
