Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' emotional and mental health, focusing on symptoms related to mood disorders and relational challenges. \n

- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address a variety of issues, particularly those surrounding divorce and relationship dynamics. \n
- Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and essential self-care practices, ensuring they have the knowledge necessary to navigate their treatment journey. \n
- Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations and feedback. \n
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide holistic and integrated care for clients. \n
- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards. \n
- Engage in continuous professional development, staying current with best practices in psychotherapy and relevant research. \n

- A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required. \n
- A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is necessary. \n
- Demonstrated ability to establish trusting therapeutic relationships through excellent communication and interpersonal skills. \n
- A genuine commitment to empathy, understanding, and maintaining a nonjudgmental stance towards clients' unique experiences and challenges. \n
