Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Nights, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and evidence-based nursing care to adult psychiatric patients
• Conduct thorough assessments and monitor patient progress
• Administer medications safely and accurately
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Maintain a therapeutic and safe environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in Utah (or compact state)
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum 2 years of recent psychiatric nursing experience
• Ability to work night shifts and every third weekend

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of psychiatric medications and interventions
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
• Excellent communication and de-escalation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
