Role Description The Nail Technician can be a full or part-time, on-site role based at Taffeta Salon & Spa in Hammonton, NJ. This role is responsible for providing professional nail services, including manicures, pedicures, nail shaping, cuticle care, and application of polish and treatments. Day-to-day tasks include performing basic and advanced nail care, creating nail art designs, maintaining a clean and sanitary workstation, and following health and safety guidelines. The Nail Technician will consult with clients to understand their preferences, recommend services and products, and deliver a positive, consistent guest experience. The role also involves scheduling and managing appointments, supporting front-desk processes when needed, and contributing to a friendly, team-oriented salon atmosphere. Qualifications Strong Nail Care skills, including manicures, pedicures, and general maintenance of Nails. Training or experience in Cosmetology with a focus on nail services and related salon practices. Ability to design and execute Nail Art, including classic, modern, and custom looks. Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and build client relationships. State-approved nail technician or cosmetology license (or eligibility to obtain, as required by New Jersey regulations). Commitment to hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards in all services and work areas. Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
