We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team at The Orchards at Canterbury on the Lake in Waterford Township, Michigan. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, supporting our therapists, and contributing to a positive and patient-centered environment.

Pay starts at $30.00 per hour and increases based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in conducting physical therapy treatments, evaluations, and assessments

• Implement treatment plans, exercise programs, and modalities under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

• Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately and thoroughly

• Participate in patient education and discharge planning

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting or related field preferred

• Minimum of 0 years of experience in a setting such as a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation hospital, or outpatient clinic

• Possess strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to lift, transfer, and support patients with varying abilities
