- Own the end-to-end architecture of modern Safety/Pharmacovigilance Data Platforms, ingesting data from various clinical and non-clinical systems and transforming it into insights for internal and external users using scalable big data pipelines on GCP.
- Must have Pharmacovigilance experience, including understanding of the ArisG ecosystem for data dependency purposes.
- Design and develop flexible, scalable, and resilient data processing pipelines using industry-leading tools and technologies, including serverless architectures, containers, and Data Fabric.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, including data streams, integrations, transformations, databases, and data warehouses.
- Write clear, detailed, and concise documentation—architecture diagrams, reference architecture, data flows, data models, and implementation plans.
- Enhance our API infrastructure connecting web portals to the back-end processing engine.
- Leverage latest innovations in data science to improve our footprint.
- Collaborate with Security and Risk Management teams to improve security posture and develop disaster recovery plans.
- Proficient in scripting with Iron Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and basic Python and R scripting.
- Thorough understanding of GCP services for data, analytics, and AI such as BigQuery, Apache Kafka, Vertex AI, AutoML, Gemini, etc.
