ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality critical care to patients in a fast-paced environment, ensuring their safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions as needed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Educate patients and families regarding health management and care protocols.
Rotate through different ICU units as required.

Qualifications

Active New York RN license is required.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting is essential.
Charge nurse experience is highly preferred.
Candidates must possess current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
First-time travelers may be considered.
Local candidates must reside within a 75-mile radius.

Shift Information

This position involves working night shifts, specifically four 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00. Every other weekend availability is required.

Patient Ratio

The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 2-3 patients per nurse.
