Kleinfelder's Oklahoma City, Oklahoma office is looking for an Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer to join our engineering team with experience, skills and interest in developing their career .

We are looking for someone experienced in:

• Geotechnical Field Investigations,
• Soil and Rock Classification/Boring Logs,
• Pavement Design,
• Engineering Analysis, and
• Report Preparation.

The ideal candidate will have 0 to 3 years' experience and:

• Positive work attitude and ability to work safely and efficiently when managing multiple tasks
• Ability to work independently or with a team in a multi-disciplinary environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, Including Word, Excel, and Power Point preferred
• An ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers, supervisors, clients, subcontractors and regulators.

Education:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelors or Masters in Civil Engineering (geotechnical emphasis preferred).

Additional:

• EIT is preferred (or the ability to obtain within 3 to 6 months).
• Be able to obtain PE license within 4 years of hiring
• Some construction material testing and inspection related experience are also preferred.

Following an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.
