Position Summary

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, notably abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging

• Partner seamlessly with radiologists and referred physicians to procure top-quality diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain ultrasound equipment, addressing any technical issues promptly
• Document procedures accurately and maintain comprehensive patient records within the electronic medical records system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and continues to improve practices

Educational background:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferably, completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography training program

Required certifications:

• Valid certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or similar
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification favored

Necessary skills:

• Proficient in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
