We currently have an opportunity for a Customer Account Specialist at our Manufacturing Facility in Appleton , WI .

Responsibilities

The Customer Account Specialist provides exemplary service to customers by phone and online. Focused on our Presto Geosystems business, you will assist customers with order processing and expediting, quotes, returns, delivery information, product knowledge, research, problem-solving, and follow-up. Attention to detail, strong interpersonal communication skills, and a willingness to collaborate within the department and with other business units is essential. Customer Partnership

• Deliver exceptional customer service by managing customer inquiries, orders, returns, quotations, and product information through multiple communication channels.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned customer accounts to enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term business partnerships.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day customer contact, ensuring timely communication and effective resolution of customer concerns.

Order Management

• Review customer orders for accuracy, product availability, lead times, and compliance with established order policies to support reliable order fulfillment.
• Coordinate order changes, issue resolution, and delivery updates to ensure timely execution and a positive customer experience.
• Resolve customer service issues through research, follow-up, and collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Business Partnership

• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and other functional teams to address customer requirements and resolve service challenges.
• Facilitate communication between customers and internal business partners when customer needs require coordinated solutions beyond standard processes.
• Provide ongoing feedback regarding customer expectations, service performance, and emerging business needs.

Continuous Improvement & Compliance

• Analyze customer interactions and service trends to identify opportunities for process improvements that enhance service performance.
• Support company quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance requirements by following applicable policies and promptly escalating concerns.
• Contribute to a collaborative, customer-focused culture that promotes operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

Required

• High school diploma or GED.
• 10 years of customer service, customer account support, or related experience in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree.

• Proficient in MS Office.
