What We Value • Strong SolidWorks 3D modeling and drawing creation skills. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills. • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. • Manufacturing and mechanical aptitude. What We Want From You • Associate Degree in Mechanical Design, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field (minimum requirement). • 3+ years of mechanical design experience preferred. • Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks including parts, assemblies, weldments, and print creation. • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Physical Requirements • Ability to work in office and manufacturing environments. • Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds. • Ability to wear required PPE. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to protected status under applicable law.What You Will Do • Develop detailed 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks. • Create manufacturing prints, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and bills of materials. • Design machine components, tooling, fixtures, guarding, and production equipment modifications. • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously from concept through implementation. • Coordinate project activities with stakeholders, vendors, and contractors. • Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting efforts. • Maintain engineering documentation and revision control. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives. • Limited travel may be required.Our ExpectationsWe expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
