Adjunct, Physical Therapy Job Locations: US-NY-Central Islip Overview The Adjunct Instructor works with the Program Chair and Lead Course Instructor to teach program courses. Responsibilities Teach a minimum of one graduate-level course Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts Be prompt and accurate in the recording and reporting of student data Support students’ learning goals by: Focusing on student learning outcomes Taking into account the needs and abilities of the students Becoming familiar with academic and social support Making reasonable provisions to accommodate individual differences Maintaining the academic integrity of the college Making himself/herself available to assist students in achieving their learning goals Qualifications Doctoral degree preferred (or an equivalent of highest attainable degree) Previous collegiate teaching experience recommended Maximum Salary USD $125.00/Hr. Minimum Salary USD $60.00/Hr.
