Job Summary: Seeking a highly skilled CT Tech for a travel assignment at a busy emergency department. The role involves performing diagnostic CT scans and general radiology exams, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. Responsibilities: Operate GE Optima 660 CT and Proteus x-ray equipment to perform emergency department imaging procedures. Collaborate with the medical team to accurately deliver diagnostic images for critical patient assessments. Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control guidelines during all procedures. Document all exams thoroughly within the Meditech system, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Adjust imaging techniques based on patient condition and diagnostic requirements. Provide exceptional patient care and support throughout the imaging process, including during on-call shifts. Qualifications: Credentialed ARRT(R)(CT) and SCRQSA certifications. Valid BLS certification. Minimum of 1 year of general radiology technologist experience. Proven CT imaging experience in a fast-paced emergency environment. Strong knowledge of GE imaging systems and procedures. Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
