Description FILMtech Job Description Job Title: Customer Service Representative Department: Administrative FLSA Status: Non-exempt Starting Salary Range: Salary Depends on Experience Description: FILMtech. Inc. is a metallizing converter of plastic webs for barrier or aesthetic products used in flexible packaging, lamination, printing, agriculture, and a variety of other markets. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and ability to be a positive team player in a fast-paced environment. This challenging position is an administrative position that also functions as a support extension of the sales team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned.) Process owner of all order fulfillment activities including order entry, order acknowledgement, and communication regarding order status with the customer Supporting pre- and post-sale activities around quoting, order support & accuracy and ensuring proper sales recognition Remains engaged with customer representatives to ensure their demands are being met Provides guidance to the sales team and end-to-end accountability on the order creation to sales recognition process. Pursues additional sales from existing customers in conjunction with sales representatives and explore new sales opportunities Understand production demands and prioritize workflow accordingly Provide support to sales staff as needed Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, associates, and customers Assists in the customer claims investigation process to protect both the client and FILMtech and ensures that claims are processed and closed in a timely manner Provides support to the Quality Engineer on an as needed basis in the development of Customer Specification Sheets and obtaining or forwarding requested samples Marginal Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned.) Requirements Required Education and/or Experience (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): High school diploma with two or more years of related experience Maintain professionalism in the office environment Ability to work with complex databases and systems Governance and accountability to drive productivity of sales team Develop effective relationships with peers, sales team, and across organizational lines Detail-oriented, strong communication and interpersonal skills and a positive attitude Preferred Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Possession of valid driver’s license Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly required to lift and/or move, push or pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally required to lift and/or move, push or pull up to 50 pounds without assistance and up to 100 pounds or more with assistance.
