Travel RN – Medical/Surgical (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Full-Time | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Spine/Med-Surg unit with a patient ratio of 6:1 with LPN support
• Perform wound and dressing care on post-operative burn and flap patients
• Operate and monitor unit equipment including Hoyer lifts, air mattresses, wound vacs, and PCA pumps
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with charge nurses, LPNs, and PCTs as part of a structured night shift team

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Colorado or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital Medical/Surgical experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Prior travel nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Burn care experience
• Wound care and/or ostomy care experience
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
