Job Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. This position requires a strong background in nursing, particularly in labor and delivery, and involves a range of responsibilities within the maternity unit.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive care to labor and induction patients.
Assist in the OB-OR during the delivery process.
Manage antepartum assignments effectively.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for maternal and newborn health.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in line with protocols.

Shift Details:

This position requires availability for night shifts, specifically three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
MUST possess a valid Ohio nursing license or a Compact State license at the time of application.
Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE are required upon submission.
One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the last 12 months is mandatory.
Familiarity with EPIC Stork is preferred but not necessary.

Additional Information:

During orientation, candidates will be required to complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and a Safe Medicate assessment, achieving an acceptable score on both evaluations.
