Business Program Coordinator

Role summary / purpose

Employees in this job function plan and oversee projects/programs working with cross-functional teams across various business functions such as Human Resources, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Sales.

Key responsibilities

• Develop project plans, define the business-related project/program scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with organizational goals
• Drive problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives by leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with executive leadership and function heads
• Facilitate the development effort by creating and monitoring an efficient, streamlined process between internal teams and/or external vendors
• Effectively communicate status updates to all stakeholders across multiple organizations and teams with reinforcing quantitative measurements
• Ensure project and program objectives, deliverables, and results are completed within the agreed scope, timeline, budget, and allocated resources
• Provide accurate and insightful analysis and reporting, presenting data in a clear format for presentations and reviews
• Identify risks and create risk mitigation plans to ensure timely completion of projects/programs
• Serve as a subject matter expert in their respective business domain of Human Resources, Marketing, Legal, Finance, or Sales

Requirements - education & experience

• Associate level experience
• 2 years in IT
• Previous experience in program/project coordination, cross-functional stakeholder support, or event logistics within a large-scale corporate environment
• Experience coordinating across multiple business functions or departments to support shared goals and timelines

Required skills

• Strong skills in the Microsoft 365 suite including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, and Copilot
• Familiarity with task/milestone tracking tools such as Planner and SharePoint to support program coordination
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills with a focus on professional coordination
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to track multiple moving parts, deliverables, and timelines across concurrent initiatives

Nice-to-have / preferred skills

• Experience with Copilot and/or Open Code AI tools
