Pediatric Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) – Glendale, AZ
Location: Glendale, AZ
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
Our pediatric medical practice in Glendale, AZ is hiring an experienced Pediatric Medical Assistant with continuous pediatric clinical experience. This full-time role supports our providers with rooming, vitals, immunizations, and patient care for infants through adolescents, with a defined path to a Lead Medical Assistant position.
Responsibilities:
- Room pediatric patients and obtain accurate vitals, height/weight, and growth measurements
- Administer childhood immunizations per current AAP schedules
- Assist providers during well-child, sick, and newborn visits
- Document accurately and efficiently in the EMR
- Support patient flow, scheduling, and clinical team coordination
- Mentor and train newer clinical staff as you grow into a leadership role
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of continuous experience as a Pediatric Medical Assistant (no significant gaps)
- Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification
- Experience with pediatric immunization administration and vital signs
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems
- Strong, verifiable attendance and reliability record
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
