Site Manager in Gloucester

Job DescriptionConstruction Site Manager Location: Gloucester. Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Package (including £5,000 Car Allowance). An established, family-run regional main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Construction Site Manager to lead the delivery of a £5 million new-build healthcare facility in Gloucester. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a high-profile project that will have a lasting impact on the local community while working for a business renowned for its quality, integrity and long-term approach to construction. The Role Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the construction site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Key responsibilities include: Managing all site operations from start to completion. Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel. Driving health and safety standards and ensuring full compliance. Monitoring programme and progress, identifying and resolving issues proactively. Maintaining exceptional quality throughout the build. Building positive relationships with the client, consultants and wider project team. Managing site logistics, materials and labour resources efficiently. Producing site reports and attending progress meetings. About You You’ll ideally have: Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering new-build construction projects. Experience managing projects valued between £3m and £10m. A background with a main contractor. Excellent organisational and planning skills. Strong health and safety awareness. The ability to motivate teams and maintain high standards on site. SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications (essential). Healthcare project experience is advantageous but not essential. What's on Offer?
