Ward Clerk Full-time 7pm-7am

We are seeking a dedicated outpatient admissions coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing outpatient and ancillary admissions, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for patients requiring emergency department services.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Complete admissions for patients by following established procedures, including scanning documents into the Healthland system.
• Perform additional admission duties as required to support the department.
• Assist patients in navigating the hospital and provide support as needed.
• Collaborate with other emergency department staff to ensure optimal patient care and workflow.

Skills and qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in using health information systems, particularly the Healthland system.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
