Assembly - Trainer 2nd Shift

ECHO is hiring a Trainer in our production area! Starting at $17.50/HR + $1 SD = $18.50/HR! 2nd Shift M-F 3:15pm - 11:30pm! Explain special techniques and challenges associated with the production process. Illustrate the outcomes and reasons for deviations from established procedures by employees. Assist new employees during the initial assembly phase to maintain a smooth flow on the assembly line. Monitor the progress of employees from their first day to one week, focusing on gaining confidence and experience, including aspects of quality and quantity. Conduct weekly evaluations, in collaboration with the Group Leader, for up to three weeks after the employee has worked in collaboration with assembly line conditions. The final decision on whether the employee has successfully completed training and should be retained as an assembler is made at this point. Provide training on general assembly procedures, the use of air tools, and assembly fixtures. Describe in detail the purpose of each step in the assembly procedure, with the trainer initially performing the assembly while the new employee observes for a reasonably brief period. Perform non-training tasks when training is not required, as assigned by the Group Leader, to contribute to the overall functioning of the department and company. Must be fluent in both English and Spanish. Qualifications: Possess basic mechanical aptitude. Ability to operate small hand tools and assemble small items. Train and mentor new employees.
