Welder Fitter

Position: Welder Fitter
Pay: $24.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
Location: New Albany, IN

Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Welder Fitter to start IMMEDIATELY at $24/hour. Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire!

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
• Measure, cut, and fit metal components using torches, saws, grinders, and clamps
• Set up welding equipment and perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, or Stick processes
• Inspect welded components for quality and compliance with standards
• Maintain and operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform layout work and tack welding in preparation for final welds
• Conduct quality checks on finished products and make necessary adjustments
• Follow all safety guidelines and keep a clean, organized work area
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or welding certification preferred
• Proven experience as a welder fitter or similar role
• Proficient in reading blueprints and measuring tools
• Strong knowledge of welding methods (MIG, TIG, Stick)
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments
• Familiarity with safety standards in fabrication settings
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and work ethic

• TIG and Stick welding
• MIG welding techniques
• Blueprint reading and layout work
