DOT Compliance Specialist The DOT Compliance Specialist leads the company’s U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance program to reduce risk and ensure ongoing adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. This role owns policies, audits, documentation, and reporting across drivers, vehicles, and operations, and partners closely with Operations, Maintenance, HR, and leadership to maintain a strong safety culture and readiness for inspections and audits. A company that will invest in your future and values professional Shine growth Excellent benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, LTD, Life, and EAP Paid Vacation/Sick & Safe Leave Location Remote Key Responsibilities Administer DOT compliance programs, serving as a primary contact for audits, inspections, roadside documentation, and regulatory correspondence Maintain driver qualification (DQ) files and driver compliance, including HOS/ELD monitoring Ensure vehicle, inspection, and maintenance compliance through oversight of DVIRs, periodic inspections, maintenance records, and CSA/inspection trends Deliveruary DOT compliance training, guidance, and tools for drivers, dispatch, and field leadership to prevent violations and improve compliance Conduct internal audits, track compliance metrics, support incident documentation, and assist with corrective action plans to maintain audit readiness samuti Required Qualifications 5+ years of DOT compliance experience with strong knowledge of 49 CFR regulations Experience with ELD/HOS systems, audits, inspections, and compliance documentation Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace Multi‑state or mixed‑fleet experience and safety/compliance certifications (NATMI, TSI, or similar) preferred Working knowledge of CSA/SMS and roadside inspection score improvement strategies Exposure to safety performance Officer programs, audits, and compliance‑driven risk reduction Core Competencies Regulatory expertise with practical, real‑world application Clear, effective communication and training delivery Strong judgment, discretion, and professionalism Data‑driven problem solving with trend and risk analysis Collaborative approach with consistent follow‑through and strong documentation discipline across Operations, Maintenance, and HR Why You'll Love Working Here Be part of a growing, safety‑driven company with nationwide impact Working alongside a supportive team that values accuracy, accountability, and innovation Competitive pay, great benefits, and opportunities for career advancement Commitment to ongoing professional development An inclusive, collaborative culture that values every team member \ області What is Pro‑Vac?
