Sales Representative | NPK Plus

Job Summary

NPK Plus is seeking an energetic, motivated, and relationship-driven Sales Representative to join our growing team in Homestead, Florida.

As a family-owned agricultural supply company proudly serving South Florida since 1986, we're looking for someone who is passionate about people, plants, and supporting the success of our local agricultural community. In this role, you will serve as the frontline ambassador for NPK Plus, driving sales growth by building strong customer relationships, identifying customer needs, and providing tailored solutions. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will help build lasting relationships, promote our products, and contribute to the continued success of our organization and the agricultural industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel throughout South Florida to generate new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while helping them succeed.
• Reconnect with past customers and strengthen long-term partnerships.
• Visit customers and prospects on assigned sales routes to provide timely, personalized service.
• Identify customer needs and recommend products and solutions that best fit their operations.
• Drive sales by promoting products, upselling when appropriate, and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Provide product knowledge and recommendations to nurseries, growers, landscapers, and other agricultural businesses.
• Utilize technology to manage customer accounts, orders, communications, and sales activities.
• Maintain organized records of customer interactions, route schedules, and sales opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable commercial driving and transportation safety regulations.

Qualifications

Required

• Bilingual (English and Spanish).
• Previous sales and/or customer service experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented.
• Positive attitude with a team-player mindset.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Comfortable using technology and basic computer systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Preferred

• Experience in the plant, nursery, landscaping, or agricultural industry.
• Knowledge of pricing strategies, merchandising, and upselling techniques.
• Experience with route sales, outside sales, or transportation logistics.
