Job Description
Emergency RN

Schedule

Shift start times: 07:00, 10:00, 11:00, 13:00, 15:00, 19:00. Weekends are required every other weekend.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 13 weeks; guaranteed hours: 36 hours/week.

Requirements

• Current RN license in a compact state.
• Minimum of 1 year of emergency nursing experience; 2 years preferred.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS.
• Core clinical skills: triage, critical IV drips, central line care, phlebotomy, and EKG interpretation.
• Experience with Epic electronic medical record system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and triage patients in emergency situations.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Conduct emergency procedures as necessary.

Compliance / Notes

Must commit to working 3 of the 5 listed holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, NYD). Background checks will be conducted as part of the compliance process.
