Operations ManagerFall River, Massachusetts, United StatesThe OpportunityAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Manager to join a growing aerospace manufacturing business that designs and manufactures specialist electrical connectors, cable assemblies, and power solutions used across commercial and military aviation.Following significant investment and recent acquisition by a global aviation group, the business is entering an exciting phase of growth and transformation. This is a key leadership hire and an opportunity to play a major role in shaping the future of the operation.Reporting directly to the President, you will take ownership of the entire manufacturing operation, leading production, quality, inventory, sourcing, and shipping functions while driving operational excellence across the facility.The RoleAs Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the manufacturing facility, ensuring customer commitments are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety.You will lead a team of approximately 23 employees, including production, quality, sourcing, inventory, and shipping functions, while overseeing a newly created Production Manager position.Key responsibilities include:Leading day-to-day manufacturing operationsDriving operational performance and continuous improvement initiativesManaging production planning, inventory control, and resource allocationDeveloping and mentoring operational teamsMonitoring KPIs and implementing corrective actions where requiredEnsuring on-time delivery and customer satisfactionDriving quality standards within an aerospace and military manufacturing environmentSupporting business growth through process improvements and operational scalabilityPartnering with senior leadership on strategic planning and future expansionAbout YouWe are looking for an experienced manufacturing leader who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys building high-performing teams.You will ideally have:7+ years of manufacturing or operations leadership experienceExperience managing multiple operational functions including production, quality, supply chain, inventory, or logisticsStrong production planning and workflow management experienceA background within aerospace, defence, electrical manufacturing, precision manufacturing, or a similar technical environmentExperience driving continuous improvement initiativesExcellent leadership and communication skillsA data-driven approach to operational decision-makingExperience within AS9100, ISO environments, aerospace manufacturing, military products, electrical connectors, cable assemblies, or similar industries would be highly advantageous.What's on Offer?Salary of $85,000 - $100,000Opportunity to join a growing aerospace manufacturing businessSignificant autonomy and operational ownershipLeadership role with direct influence on company growthLong-term career progression within an expanding global groupIf you are an experienced Operations Manager looking to make a genuine impact within a growing manufacturing business, we'd love to hear from you.
