Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the 5S General Surgery unit at a highly respected hospital in Cincinnati, OH. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN looking for a rewarding short-term contract with competitive pay.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to general surgery patients.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Previous General Surgery, Medical-Surgical, or Acute Care experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred if required by the facility).
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
