2nd Shift Welder

Join our team as a 2nd Shift Welder, where you'll apply your skills in MIG welding to create high-quality roofing curbs for HVAC units. You will work primarily with galvanized sheet metal, ensuring secure and precise joints through repetitive welding processes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repetitive welding on galvanized sheet metal to attach joints.
  • Set up welding equipment and replace tanks and wire as needed.
  • Conduct MIG welding on various products, specifically focused on roofing curbs for HVAC units.

Essential Skills

  • At least 1 year of experience in welding.
  • Proficient in MIG welding techniques.
  • Experience with thin gauge metal fabrication.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in welding and MIG welding.
  • Ability to work with fabrication processes.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate-controlled fabrication shop that offers a dynamic and engaging environment. This smaller shop provides opportunities for both 1st shift (6am - 2:30pm) and 2nd shift (2pm - 10:30pm) work schedules.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
