This role emphasizes building intuitive user interfaces backed by robust APIs and data-processing services in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. **Responsibilities:*** Collaborate with government stakeholders and product leadership to refine and document application requirements.* Design and implement modern, responsive user interfaces using Angular or comparable frameworks (React or Vue).* Build and integrate backend APIs using Node.js (Nest.js) and Python-based analytics services.* Integrate external data sources, analytics libraries, and query engines to support complex workflows.* Partner with UI/UX designers and power users to deliver intuitive, data-driven user experiences.* Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, daily standups, demos, and retrospectives.* Test and validate features to ensure functional, performance, and usability requirements are met. **Minimum Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.* 5+ years of professional software development experience.* Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks (Angular preferred; React or Vue acceptable).* Experience using UI component libraries (PrimeNG preferred) and/or Tailwind CSS.* Backend API development experience using Node.js (Nest.js or similar).* Experience integrating Python-based analytics or data processing services.* Hands-on experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.* Experience building and deploying applications in AWS environments.* Willingness to work onsite full time. **Preferred Qualifications:*** Experience with data visualization and analytical presentation of results.* Familiarity with pandas or polars for data processing.* Experience with Trino or distributed query engines.* Experience implementing authentication and authorization in cloud-based systems.* Familiarity with Docker-based development workflows.**Pay Transparency:** To support pay transparency, Vantor includes salary ranges in all U.S. job postings.
