Clinical Research Coordinator

Clinical Research Coordinator II position overseeing clinical site activities at Thermo Fisher Scientific in Atlanta. Responsibilities include conducting FDA/GCP-compliant studies, performing study procedures, managing patient scheduling, maintaining data integrity, and ensuring regulatory compliance throughout the research process.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical studies in compliance with FDA/GCP/ICH regulations and guidelines
• Perform study procedures including informed consent, screening, vital signs, ECGs, and pregnancy testing
• Schedule subject visits within protocol windows and manage patient bookings and follow-up calls
• Record patient information and test results accurately on required forms and sponsor systems
• Maintain source documents, IRB approval, and ensure regulatory compliance throughout studies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent formal academic/vocational qualification
• 2+ years of relevant clinical research experience or comparable combination of education and training
• BLS certificate preferred
• Strong understanding of GCP, SOPs, informed consent, and safety monitoring
• Proficiency in computer applications and clinical data systems (EDC, case report forms)
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Fluent English communication skills
