A Day In The Life
- Analysis and diagnosis of defective or damaged engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems and various drive train break downs.
- Ability to disassemble, repair or replace parts and reassemble machinery to specific standards as required by blue prints, drawings, or supervisors direction.
- Ability to inspect and perform preventive maintenance of equipment as required and maintains a schedule for each piece.
- Must be able to solder, braze, weld, and use precise measuring equipment, electrical test controls, sweat copper connection, and other various related duties.
- Will be knowledgeable and proficient at reading drawings, blue prints, sketches, schematics, and detailed specifications provided by the manufacture of the equipment being repaired.
- Must be able to through license and ability to perform Missouri State vehicle inspections.
- Responsible for inventory of needed spare parts for repairs to all mobile equipment.
- Associates degree from an authorized technical school, or equivalent experience, with a recommended 30 plus credit hours of trade school, or a journeyman status from an approved apprentice program.
- Will be required to obtain and maintain a license from the State of Missouri, for Missouri Vehicle Inspections.
- Will be required to maintain a Class D. Chauffeurs License from the State of Missouri.
- Ability to lift 60-80 lbs manually.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs manually from floor to waist.
