Department Manager $23.15-$28/AN HOUR

Position Summary We are hiring a Department Manager for an independent franchisee-owned McDonald’s restaurant. The manager will oversee one or more departments and ensure a fast, accurate, friendly customer experience, maintain high food safety and quality standards, and support staff development and scheduling. The role is available to individuals who are 18 years or older and can manage multiple teams in a fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities Lead weekly shifts and manage assigned department operations, including training, food safety, inventory and performance goals. Ensure customers receive a fast, accurate and friendly experience every visit. Administer the Guest Service Department: make sure crew and managers deliver excellent service, promote sales, train staff in service procedures, and keep the Front Counter, McCafé and Drive‑Thru areas organized. Administer the Kitchen Department: enforce food quality and safety, control food costs, and train kitchen staff on production procedures and new menu items. Run the People Department: hire qualified crew, train them, schedule shifts to meet sales and profit goals, and provide recognition and motivation to the team. Maintain reliable, dependable and predictable attendance as required for managerial positions. Report results and progress to senior management and participate in strategy meetings. Qualifications Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting. Positive team‑player attitude, flexible scheduling, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Must be 18 years or older to qualify for a managerial position in a corporate‑owned restaurant. Reliable and predictable attendance.
