SAFETY & RECRUITING MANAGER | K&S Carriers & Logistics K&S Carriers runs OTR, regional, and local trucking routes across North America. As we grow our fleet, we need someone who can do two things exceptionally well: find great drivers and keep them safe on the road. This is a dual-function role that sits at the heart of our operation. You'll own the full recruiting cycle and lead our safety and compliance program — working closely with dispatch, operations, and leadership to build a driver team we're proud of. Apply here:
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Manage the full driver recruiting cycle — sourcing, screening, onboarding, and orientation Maintain DOT/FMCSA compliance across all driver files, drug & alcohol programs, and HOS policies Monitor CSA/SMS scores and lead corrective action plans to stay ahead of violations Investigate accidents, coach drivers, and deliver ongoing safety training Build a proactive driver pipeline to support fleet growth and minimize open seats Serve as the go-to resource for compliance questions across the organizationWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
3+ years of experience in driver recruiting, fleet safety management, or both — trucking industry experience required Strong working knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, and OSHA regulations Familiarity with recruiting platforms (Tenstreet, DriverReach, Indeed) and ELD/telematics systems A natural relationship-builder who earns trust with drivers and leadership alike Organized and self-directed — you manage competing priorities without needing to be micromanaged CDS or NATMI certification is a plus; CDL-A is a plusWHAT YOU'LL GET
