Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures for adult and pediatric patients as required.
• Conduct CT-guided procedures, including biopsies, under radiologist supervision; assist with angiography as needed.
• Position patients, prepare equipment, verify orders in the electronic health record (EPIC), and monitor patient safety and comfort.
• Operate 64-slice GE CT scanners; optimize imaging protocols and ensure high-quality studies while adhering to safety standards.
• Maintain radiation safety practices, manage contrast administration if applicable, and document findings and procedures in the EMR.
• Collaborate with radiologists, radiology technologists, and other care team members; respond to urgent imaging needs and trauma protocols as required.

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license (MA Radiation License)
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification and ARRT CT Certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• 5+ years of CT experience in a hospital setting; CT angiograms and CT-guided procedures (e.g., biopsies); trauma experience; EPIC experience
• Knowledge of 64-slice GE CT scanners
• Ability to work the listed evening shift and thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment
