Ford Certified Service TechnicianQuirk Ford is seeking a skilled Ford Certified Service Technician to join our team! We’re looking for a dependable technician with a strong automotive background who can accurately diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles while delivering quality workmanship.Benefits:Competitive compensation: $40-$45 per hour (Based on Experience & Certifications)Health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement planLong-term disability insuranceLife insurance and critical illness insuranceQuirk Ford provides a $20,000 Basic Life Insurance and AD&D policy at no costOptional benefits available at employee costPaid sick time after 90 daysPaid vacation after 1 yearResponsibilitiesPerform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealershipTest-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipmentDiagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairsExecute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specificationsQualifications2+ years of Service Technician experience preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification requiredFord Certification is requiredPrevious experience at a Ford dealershipB level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine RepairDexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordinationMechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipmentExcellent customer service skills and basic computer competenciesPositive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improveEnjoy working in a dynamic environmentTeammate with ability to collaborate with others effectivelyAbility to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specificationsValid driver's license and clean driving recordAbout Quirk Ford:Quirk Ford is a trusted Ford dealership located in Quincy, Massachusetts.
