Janitor - Part Time

Job Description We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Part Time Janitor to join our team in Bakersfield, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a safe and sanitary environment. The Janitor will support Fortis Native Group and will report to the project manager. This position is 100% onsite. Note: the clearance process with the FAA often takes 4-6 weeks. Responsibilities Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal. Maintain restrooms and replenish supplies as needed. Ensure all areas are clean, organized, and presentable. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management. Follow all company policies and safety procedures. Qualifications Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred but not required. Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the facility. Hardworking, dependable, and detail-oriented. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Work Schedule This is a part time position with flexible hours. Compensation & Benefits Total Compensation Package: $23.90/hour Base Pay: $18.81/hour Health & Welfare Benefit: Additional $5.09/hour (up to 40 hours per week) Extra Benefit Any unused Health & Welfare funds are paid directly to you in your paycheck.
