International Shipping Associate

Location Mount Pleasant, IL | Onsite

Compensation & Schedule

• $24/hr

• Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

• Temporary | W2

Role Impact

The International Shipping Associate ensures global shipments are prepared accurately, documented correctly, and dispatched on schedule. This role safeguards regulatory compliance and shipment traceability for pharmaceutical exports. Success is measured by error-free documentation, real-time system updates, and smooth coordination between warehouse staging and carrier pickup.

Key Duties

• Process outbound international shipments in alignment with company standards and export regulations.

• Create, enter, and validate Air Waybill (AWB) information within Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

• Prepare, upload, and audit export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping labels.

• Stage, weigh, label, and move outbound freight to support timely carrier dispatch.

• Collaborate with warehouse personnel, freight forwarders, and internal departments to resolve discrepancies and meet shipping deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs regularly.

• High attention to detail with accurate data entry and documentation skills.

• Experience using Microsoft Office and ERP, WMS, or shipment tracking systems.

• Equipment & Work Environment

• Warehouse and shipping dock setting.

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and manual package handling.

• Operation of shipping scales, labeling equipment, and tracking systems.

• Fast-paced environment with time-sensitive export deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Background in export logistics, distribution, or warehouse operations.

• Knowledge of Air Waybill (AWB) processing and international freight documentation.

• Understanding of export compliance standards and global trade regulations.
