Lab Technician Intern

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Job Requirements: Assisting in new product introductions, performing UL testing as requested Coordinate product lifecycle testing on Byrne and competitive products Write comprehensive lab reports to communicate / document UL lab test results Must be able to interface with suppliers, manufacturing staff, office personnel and to a lesser extent, customers in a dynamic environment. Take direction from engineering / management to perform R&D validation testing as requested Provide support to purchasing/engineering by qualifying new products, processes and materials including ISIR and PPAP requirements. Assist with the calibration of both manufacturing and test equipment and devices. Support CSM (lean manufacturing) initiatives by participating in events and assisting wherever possible and following up to ensure that gains are maintained.
